We are a fast-growing and fast-moving company looking to hire a Prep Cook/Confectioner to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the official creator of the gummy solution.
- Efficiently follow detailed recipes to produce gummies with high quality, consistency, and minimal waste.
- Perform mathematical calculations to ensure proper dosage.
- Properly mix all ingredients to ensure adequate homogenization.
- Keep accurate and legible production logs.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workstation.
- Inspect finished products for quality and visual presentation.
- Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
- Packaging and labeling duties as needed.
- Follow cannabis regulations for health and safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
You’ll be a good candidate if you have:
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with the ability to deliver accuracy while meeting and exceeding goals.
- High school diploma or GED (required), Associate degree and/or 2-year culinary preferred
- 2-year working experience in a kitchen, or food production.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Ability to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
- Reliable transportation.
- Pass a fingerprint clearance and background check.
- Possess basic math skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Detail oriented and able to follow meticulous instructions.
- Must be 21 or older.
- Must have a positive attitude.
- The ability to work well with others.
- Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour.
