At Boldt, we build more than complex projects, and we build strong relationships, great teams, and lasting impact.
The Assistant Superintendent will support the day-to-day field execution of healthcare construction projects, including occupied hospital renovations, medical office buildouts, imaging equipment replacements, and smaller HCAI-regulated projects. Working closely with the Superintendent and project team, this role will help coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, monitor quality and safety, assist with construction sequencing, and ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans and healthcare facility requirements. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing field activities, communicating with trade partners, and helping drive project progress in active healthcare environments where minimizing disruption to ongoing operations is critical.
Candidates should have experience supporting healthcare, tenant improvement, renovation, or commercial construction projects and possess a strong understanding of field coordination, project documentation, and construction means and methods. Exposure to HCAI/OSHPD requirements, infection control procedures, interim life safety measures, imaging replacement projects, or work within occupied facilities is preferred. This position is ideal for someone looking to continue growing their field leadership skills while gaining experience on complex healthcare projects and advancing toward a Superintendent role.
