About the Role
As an Accountant, you’ll be responsible for advanced financial analysis, banking activities, accounting transactions and operations, and reporting to support the organization’s financial health. This role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy in financial data, optimizing processes, and providing insights for informed decision-making. While this position does not have supervisory duties, it requires a high degree of expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and compliance within a nonprofit setting.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (or similar accounting software) and Paylocity (or comparable payroll systems) is essential. This role also supports external financial audits and payroll-related reporting.
This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of key processes, approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, and contribute as part of a collaborative and supportive team. A typical day might include reviewing banking activity, analyzing and reconciling financial reports, and assisting with payroll and revenue cycles.
