The Department of Public Works, Parking Services Division, is seeking an Administrative Analyst to support the needs of the division’s fiscal operations. This position will perform internal audits, prepare monthly financial reports for managed parking locations, assist with budget development and review, perform in-depth fiscal and budget projections utilizing expertise in Microsoft Excel and other development tools, develop review procedures for financial reporting and perform data extraction functions from various information technology systems. This position is part of a high-performance team where members must be able to work effectively to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and where changing priorities are the norm.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and experience with auditing, budgeting, accounting, and finance is preferred. A background or related experience in data analytics, information technology systems, or government operations is highly desired. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong proficiency in formal writing and development of complex reports utilizing computer software tools, including the ability to develop databases, analyze data from various sources, and extrapolate narratives, develop recommendations, and form conclusions from fiscal and budget reports.
