Full Time - M 9am to 5pm, T-F: 7:00am to 3pm

Compensation: $25 to $28 per hour, DOE

Position Summary
The Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator serves as a key liaison between patients and the clinical team. This role is responsible for presenting proposed treatment plans, explaining procedures and financial options, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring patients understand and feel confident about their care. The coordinator supports the practice’s financial health by improving case acceptance and delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Communication & Education

Present treatment plans clearly, including procedures, timelines, and expected outcomes.

Explain insurance benefits, estimated costs, and payment options.

Answer patient questions and address concerns to support informed decision-making.

Follow up with patients who have pending or unscheduled treatment.

Treatment & Scheduling Coordination

Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and clinical staff to ensure accuracy of treatment plans.

Arrange and manage appointments based on treatment priorities and provider availability.

Track and update patient records, treatment progress, and financial agreements.

Must Haves:

Minimum of 2 years office experience

Ability to present treatment plans clearly and discuss financing options with patients

Excellent phone skills

Positive, professional, and can-do attitude

Administrative & Office Support

Maintain treatment plan logs and case acceptance metrics.

Communicate with front office staff regarding patient flow and scheduling needs.

Support billing processes as needed (pre-authorizations, claims follow-ups, narratives).

Contribute to an efficient, patient-centered practice environment.
